Gay Civil Rights Still Gotta Work It

Thanks to the Supreme Court’s milestone decision on same-sex marriage, the American Dream just became more inclusive, but the dreaming is not over yet.

When it comes to job security and a home of your own, the 2 other fundamental components of the American Dream , the LGBT community are still not fully protected under the law.

A ban on discrimination in employment and housing on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity still eludes us.

    You wrote a very good article about the TPP. I whole heartedly agree that the corporations should pay for job training. Just what sorts of jobs will they be trained to do, I wonder. The TPP is going to hurt this country. Taking over 700 million from Medicare to pay for TAA is a slap in the face. President Obama has given everything to the corporations, & left us holding the bag. It’s very sad to me. I thought he was a man of the people.
